Since you're not charging upfront, how does shipping work?
Shipping will be collected after the campaign in the BackerKit Pledge Manager in order to better manage the shipping process. The game and packaging are estimated to weigh between 2-3lbs. We’re estimating shipping to be around: - $8-$10US for Domestic - $25-$30US for International
After the campaign, if you are unhappy with the shipping charges, we will refund your purchase. No worries.

How many people can play and what is the average time of play?
• 2 - 6 players • 1 - 3 hours (the more people playing, the longer the game) • There are mechanisms to play shorter games (using fewer cities, etc.)

Is Quad City Killers really a family-friendly game?
Yes. We recommend 13 and up. While there is a violent component to the game (you are a Serial Killer after all), there is very little gore (similar to a PG13 movie). QCK was created with good humor with some tongue-in-cheek subtext for good measure.

Do we get to personalize all of the information on the Killer boards?
After the campaign closes, we will send out a survey with all of the questions you’ll need to answer. Some of the questions, like height, age, etc. you will fill out.
Some of the info, like story, arrest record, psych report, etc. we will create based on some of the answers you give.
There will be a place for you to suggest details. However, we reserve the right to make adjustments to make sure everything fits the theme and all of the game mechanics work properly.

Can I purchase more than one Personalized Killer Board?
Yes. When you pledge you can add-on additional Personalized Killer Boards, each one unique or all the same. It’s up to you.

Why is it called Quad City Killers?
When we came up with the concept, we knew we wanted an area consisting of several cities so our Serial Killers could travel and potentially escape Heat from law enforcement.
Quad Cities became an obvious choice. A metropolis of 6+ cities/townships that just grew into each other over the years. Not to mention it’s formed across two states! That doesn’t happen often, and the idea of 6 serial killers running around these small group of towns at the same time tickled us.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
